I am a board certified Licensed Professional Counselor and a Certified Eating Disorder Specialist. I have a Bachelor of Arts degree in Psychology and Religion/Philosophy from Midland University and a Master of Science in Clinical Mental Health Counseling from the University of Nebraska at Omaha.

I am one of only a couple Certified Eating Disorder Specialists in the state of Nebraska. Eating disorders have been my focus of treatment since Day 1 as a therapist. I am a member of the National Eating Disorders Association, the Nebraska Eating Disorders Network, the International Association of Eating Disorders Professionals, and the Association of Private Practice Therapists.

Having recovered from an eating disorder many years ago, my heart and passion are in helping others move forward in their recovery.

I am trained in EMDR (Eye Movement Desensitization and Reprocessing), and I incorporate it into therapy if it's desired and appropriate.
